









| Award-winning author Clay Stafford has been writing for over two decades. He did a series of three adaptations of young adult classics for Dalmatian Press. To date, over 450,000 hardcover copies have been sold, not only in the United States, but also in Canada, Germany, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Curiously enough, these books were used as set dressing in the movie "Must Love Dogs" (2005) and have been translated into Polish and Russian. His résumé includes numerous one-acts, short-shorts, skits, and even musicals for community theaters, traveling variety shows and professional touring companies. Five of his full-length staged murder mysteries have been produced; four have had Los Angeles premieres. In addition to being an author, he has reviewed books, plays, and films for Gannett newspapers and BookPage. As an editor, he facilitated the release of several PBS companion books which accompanied national series. With over sixty produced scripts to his credit, award-winning screenwriter and script consultant Clay Stafford's work can now be found on numerous continents and in fourteen languages. His clients have included PBS, Penguin Productions, and Esquire Magazine. He has written interactive media productions for the three major TV networks, television movies, numerous commercials, and documentary treatments for Betty Crocker and Habitat for Humanity. His work has won the Parent’s Choice Silver Honors, two Aurora Awards, a Davey Award, the Film Advisory Board's Award of Excellence, and received four-stars from Children’s Video Magazine, among others.
