Clay Stafford Until intentionally stepping away from the limelight in the mid-1990s, Clay Stafford worked nonstop as a model and theater actor for over 25 years, an impressive accomplishment if one is familiar with the acting world. In one touring gig alone, he was on the road for three years straight. With over 675 acting and voiceover roles, award-winning actor Clay Stafford has appeared in every medium available since becoming a professional actor at age ten: stage, film, TV, commercials, audio books, and radio. Live theater productions in which he has appeared have been sponsored by The National Endowment for the Arts, The Lyndhurst Foundation, the National Institute for Music Theatre (formally the National Opera Institute), the William Matheus Sullivan Musical Foundation, the Tennessee Arts Commission, the Allied Arts Fund, among others.
